Event Highlights
- Music & Cinema: The concert is a tribute to the legendary Italian composer Ennio Morricone. It will feature iconic soundtracks from his celebrated films such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Mission, Cinema Paradiso, and others.
- Featured Artists:
- Andrea Griminelli, the famous flutist and Grammy Award winner, will perform. Griminelli has played alongside renowned artists like Luciano Pavarotti, Sting, and Elton John, at prestigious venues such as La Scala in Milan and Carnegie Hall.
- Amedeo Salvato, the brilliant pianist, will accompany him.
- Tribute to Ennio Morricone: This concert honors Morricone’s legacy, having won two Oscars, three Grammy Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Logistics
- Parking: Available at Addis Ababa University’s main campus.
- Shuttle Service: A shuttle will be available from the main campus to the Yared School of Music and back for attendees.
