An international professional boxing tournament is going to be held in Addis Ababa
The African Boxing Confederation has opened its main office in Addis Ababa and will officially inaugurate it on Saturday, August 11, 2016.
The inauguration of the office will also be followed by the first international boxing tournament in Africa.
This international boxing tournament will be organized by the International Boxing Association in cooperation with the African Boxing Confederation and the Ethiopian Boxing Federation at the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum. Top prize money will be awarded in 10 boxing matches.
It is stated that many media will come from different countries to cover this international boxing competition. It is said that Ethiopia will be the first African country to organize such a professional competition.
It is said that any sports lover can attend the wrestling and professional boxers competition at the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum from 11:00 am.
The organizers announced in a statement sent to Trita that there is a special discount for those who buy advance entry tickets and for couples.
